Dental treatment in Amritsar for international patients
Plan your dental care around your trip. Share your X-rays before you travel, get an itemised estimate, and be treated by an English-speaking team using premium materials and strict sterilisation.
Why patients travel to Amritsar for dental care
For over a decade, World Dental Care Centre has welcomed thousands of international patients alongside our local families in Punjab. Many are expatriates visiting relatives, and others plan a trip around their treatment. Whatever brings you here, we aim to make your care calm, clear and well organised.
We use the same premium materials, such as Nobel Biocare implants and Zirconia, E-max and PFM crowns, and the same strict sterilisation you would expect in the USA, UK or Australia. We follow ADA and ISO hygiene protocols, with Class-B autoclaves and disposable barriers for every patient.
Cost is often part of the decision. International patients usually save 60% to 80% on major procedures compared with typical Western prices. Before any treatment begins, you receive an itemised written estimate, so you know exactly what is included and can decide without pressure.
Our clinic also has in-house CAD/CAM zirconia milling, an intraoral 3D scanner, portable digital X-ray and a soft-tissue dental laser. Having these under one roof helps us plan carefully and keep your visit efficient, while your dentist decides the pace that is right for your teeth.

"What stood out to me was the doctor's patience and humility. He took the time to explain the procedure, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. Plus, the cost was very affordable! I was pleasantly surprised by the great value for the price. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking top-notch dental care at a reasonable cost. How it works
Planning your treatment trip
Most international patients follow a simple path from first message to going home. Your dentist will adjust it to your needs.
Which treatments suit a trip, and how long they take
Many treatments fit well into a visit. The times below are general typical ranges only. Your dentist will confirm your schedule after examining you, as every mouth is different.
- Dental implantsUsually planned in stages. The implant is placed first, then the bone needs time to heal, often around three to six months, before the final crown is fitted. Many patients plan two trips.
- Crowns and bridgesOften two or more visits over about a week. Our in-house CAD/CAM zirconia milling can help keep the wait between visits short in many cases.
- Root canal treatmentCommonly one to three visits over several days, depending on the tooth and any infection. A crown is often advised afterwards to protect the tooth.
- Veneers and smile makeoversUsually two to three visits over one to two weeks, including planning with Digital Smile Design, preparation and fitting. Larger makeovers may take longer.
- DenturesComplete or flexible dentures usually need several visits over two to four weeks for impressions, try-ins, fitting and adjustments. Allow time for a review after fitting.
- Cleaning and check-upsA scale and polish with a full check-up is usually completed in a single visit, which makes it easy to fit into any trip. It is also a good chance for your dentist to spot any problems early and talk you through options for a future visit.
Before you travel
The more we know before you arrive, the better we can plan your time with us. Send recent X-rays, clear photos of your teeth and a short note about your concerns by WhatsApp on +91 81464 51500 or by email to doctor@worlddentalcare.com. This lets us offer a virtual consultation and an initial idea of what may be involved.
Please share your medical history, including any health conditions, past operations, allergies or pregnancy. Include a list of all the medicines you take regularly, including supplements. Some conditions and medicines affect dental treatment, so your dentist needs this information to plan safe care.
An initial plan made from records is only a starting point. Your dentist will confirm the final plan, number of visits and estimate after examining you in person. Leaving a little flexibility in your travel dates is usually wise, especially for implants or more complex work.
You can also book online by choosing a doctor and a free time. Our team will then confirm your appointment by WhatsApp or a call. If you have questions about logistics, call or WhatsApp us and we'll guide you.
Visiting Amritsar
Amritsar is home to the Golden Temple, Sri Harmandir Sahib, one of the most visited places in India. Many of our international patients combine their dental care with time with family, a visit to the temple and enjoying the food and culture of Punjab.
The city is served by Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport. Our clinic is at Building No 46, Model Town, Rani Ka Bagh, near Mata Mandir. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 2 PM and 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and closed on Sunday. Appointments are preferred.
We suggest planning a few rest days after treatment, especially after surgery or implant placement. Some swelling or tenderness is common for a few days, and resting gives you time to heal and attend any review before you fly. Your dentist will advise when you are ready to travel. Drinking plenty of water and following your aftercare instructions also helps you feel comfortable on the journey home.
